When a cracked w/s is replaced with a new one, what happens to the Inspection Stickers?

When a cracked w/s is replaced with a new one, what happens to the Inspection Stickers?
On my just replaced windshield they pulled off the sticker from the old windshield and put it on the new windshield. Inspection stickers now can easily be peeled off intact.

What is an inspection sticker?  Just messin. But, they haven’t been issued in many years.

The guys are right. The last 2 windshields I had done, they just peeled off the old one and stuck it on the new windshield.
Toll tag too. I will probably go to my grave still calling them inspection stickers lol.
