Like to bass fish, but like fishing with a partner. I am not hard core, but like to fish 2 or 3 times a month, weekends mostly. Have a 2000 Ranger, not the top of the line, but works. I fish Joe Pool, Pat Cleburne, Benbrook, and would like to fish Lewisville, never fished there. I can pay for gas , as long as you can back up a trailer, that would help, but not required. I usually catch and release, but you are welcome to keep whatever, legal. Must bring your own fishing gear, and a life jacket you prefer.

Leave me a message and will get back with you. Working on my boat this weekend to get it in shape.

I am surprised how difficult it is to find a fishing partner. I too would like to find a regular partner that would be interested in some weekend fishing trips. I like to fish different lakes around east Texas and it is getting harder for me to go by myself. I do prefer to get a cabin or hotel when I go because I just cant hold up to driving a couple of hours one way and fishing all day and driving back at night. Good luck on finding someone.

I'm a big fan of doing this when I fish Fayette. I stay at the River Valley Motor Inn and fish the weekend.

I been trying for awhile.....I go by myself 90% of the time regardless of taking the boat out or not...... its a pretty sad story when you retire early, buy a new bay boat and everyone loves fishing...the idea of fishing just not actually going.......good luck gents...I'm in the Austin area and its been impossible here.

I'm in Austin and fish the local lakes 2-3 days per week. Fishing Travis a lot right now. Retired, fish from a Vexus VX20. I very frequently have a seat available. Been looking for a couple regular weekday partners in the area. Message me if interested.
