Does anyone know of a good financial advisor they trust? We are looking to see our options going forward and want some advice.

Thank you!

At this point I’m thinking about losing mine.
I have a pretty conservative portfolio that really doesn’t require a certified planner to manage.
With being old and having no debt he is actually my most expensive expense.

I agree. Ramsey recommends everyone get one, it’s one of the few things I disagree with him on. I don’t see anything a adviser could do differently for me- as a matter of fact I’ve sat in an advisers office and it was clear I knew more than him about personal finance/investing.

I have one but he is in Richardson. You should find one close by and convenient.

My son in law is a financial advisor in Ennis. I am prejudiced.
I know little other than we talk finances and he is successful at it.

You can’t loose as the advisor.

My son is and works for Northwestern Mutual but he is in Austin. He could get you set up with a local rep for you. Reach out to him via his email at cory.duran@nm.com and best of luck to you.

Fun stuff!! There are actually people that do that for a living and pride themselves on it. Hard to sell an intangible product but next to a family and religion, no one thinks about, of course we all
live forever and our family is perfect. One of those, that would never happen to me?!?!!?! It happens, not for everyone, but if planned ahead, it does help. But from a guy that has done this for a living, and one that is going through it myself.
