How often did you drop trolling motor and fish on a trip like this? left fishing rods at home on purpose when I did Minneapolis to Albany (18 days),Missouri (4 days) and Ohio (5 days)river trips.....not much good fishing on the Missouri or Ohio rivers but upper Mississippi,parts of tombigbee,Kentucky lake,Apalachicola and Flint rivers offer some really good fishing....if i had to do it over,I would extend that trip a week or so and do some fishing at those places...
