Picked up my 2 favorite people on the planet from kindergarten & 1st grade this afternoon & headed for our super secret spot at Landa Park in New Braunfels. Crystal clear water helps out when you are teaching kids to fish. They can see the fish down there & it gives them something to "cast" at and see what's going on. We got around 15 or so & had a lot of fun. We only had some drama once when the youngest said the hook "bit him" & was bleeding. Tears didn't last long & soon he was back to casting that bait out as far as he could. I think he got more out of casting than the actual fishing...

One word. PRICELESS!

The BEST fishing trip of your life! Not for the size or the numbers, but for the NEXT GENERATION that will never forget. My Uncle took me fishing for perch with worms and cane poles when I was 8 years old. Started fishing for Bluegill on my own when I was 12 or 13 with Zebco 202 and Popping Frog.... Hooked for Life.
