Looking for current fishing report on Squaw Creek? We have a small Club Tournament on it the 12th and was seeing if the 100+ fish a day in the 2-4lb range was accurate.

Last week out there we saw 1 other boat catch a fish and had people around us all day. I know some folks are probably making that 100 fish deal happen but with what we saw and the boats we talked to weren’t anywhere near having that kind of day. We had a great time and caught a bunch of fish, they have definitely grown up a little since it closed, but I’d venture to say a very small portion of the 150 boats on the water actually have 100 fish days.

Its nice when the biomass finally breaks up and moves out across the lake. Fish are starting to stratify across the water column. Plenty of fish to be caught but its not as easy as getting in a floatila at the mouth of the river. Sunday found a giant school of 3-4 lber's out deep that you could just drop straight down and beat on. Was a great couple of hours being able to do that with not another boat in sight.
