Finally made it back to FCL today with a new axle & 2 new hubs. The road trip was uneventful which is the way I like it. Got to the lake a little after 8 am & fished until 5 pm. The water temp was in the low 80s in most of the lake where I fished. Wind was blowing harder than predicted in the morning, but calmed down in the afternoon & the lake level is down about a foot. The last trip I took a few weeks back I caught around a hundred sunfish...today I caught "0". The have officially disappeared...looking forward to next March. SO....It's also officially full swing bass season. Ended up with 29 today with most of those coming after 3 pm. The only disappointment was that no bigs were in the mix. Nothing over 3 lbs. today. With the water cooling down the bass bite should continue to improve. About half of the bass were caught on Tsunami swimbaits (blackshad) & the other half on Ned rigs (mod ring color). Yes Sir its officially over.  Side Note: Only able to fish Fayette once this year. It was very good!
