I picked up a rod from Big John yesterday I had him repair. The replacement eyelet or guide looks as good or better than the factory. I've had Big John fix a couple of my rods and reels. He makes repairs fast and is very reasonable in price. I highly recommend him if you are anywhere in the Greater Weatherford and Fort Worth area. Worth athe drive.

I agree! I have used him several times. I love getting to see his other projects he always has going on. Really really nice guy! I found this thread looking for his number because I've got some reels to take him for cleaning and repair.

You can drop them off and pick them up at Tackle Depot in Weatherford for Big John and spend a little money there to support an awesome little tackle shop.
