I want to take the grandkids to some places to feed fish. I haven't been to Joe Pool in years, but back in the day we could feed 100s of Carp by hand at the marina. Is that still possible? Any other places to take the kids to see alot of fish and feed them? Thank you.

There were lots of carp at Joe Pool the last time I was there and that is probably the most reliable place. Marinas at Grapevine, Lewisville, and Granbury have some. Many of the community ponds are also good places to feed fish.

Thanks for letting me know about Joe Pool. thumb That's probably where we will end up.

Used to have a slip on Ray Roberts and there were big ole carp that would come out for dogfood. Been years.

Why don't you take them to the fish hatchery in Athens? They can see fish up close and catch them in the pond.

You could feed the koi at the Japanese Gardens in Fort Worth. Used to love that place when I was a kid.

My vote would be the carp at Joe Pool.

Bit of a drive, but that's a great idea. Thank you.

They charge 12.00 an adult now, prolly not worth it just to feed the fish. But kids get in free, so that could be an option. But I want the kids to see a big school of fish, so as of now Joe Pool is looking promising.
