Heading up to Hot Springs Village Arkansas on vacation for the week. Staying on lake Cortez so I'm curious to hear if any TFF'ers have wet a line here? Hauling the old triton up there so I'm interested to hear insight on where I could pinpoint some fish. Any feedback will be much appreciated.

Had house in there about 5 yrs sold last yr when saw jimmy Carter 2 was going to ruin economy. Never had much luck with Cortez. Kept Triton TX18 up there. Had best luck by far on Balboa. Try north end of lake in shallows. Then try near dam lots of boulders and such near bottom hand up lot but caught some pretty good bass on tx rigged worms. All lakes have excellent ramps. Balboa is largest lake.

Can’t agree with you more…let’s go Brandon bang

Good to know. We’ll definitely consider driving down the road to Balboa. Thanks for the info!
