Hey everyone, just trying to see if there are any decent storage places you use near Allen. And rough costs y’all pay?

Currently I am in a storage where it is fully enclosed and I pay 79 a month… just don’t want to have to make an hour round trip to get my boat.

What do you mean by fully enclosed? Inside a fenced area or in an actual storage unit with electricity. $79 seems inexpensive.

Barn hit the nail on the head, if you're only an hour round-trip and paying $79 a month, keep it! Elsewhere in the area the rates are $200-$500 a month for enclosed units!!!

I'm in Lewisville Boat Storage because it's close to me. Fully enclosed with electricity, $155 monthly. I'd like to know where you're paying $79, I'd be interested in that.

So yes, fulled enclosed unit, but there isn’t electricity. Just the place to park.

I agree $79 bucks is really good, just curious what others had or if there would be a place closer to where I am going to be moving to.

Everywhere around here and in Metro I haven’t found anything less than $150-$200 range… I pay $85 at Fork for gated, fully enclosed, and with electricity. It’s about an hour and 15 minutes one way but 95% of the time I fish within 50 mile radius from Fork so it works out.

Yeah, I stand corrected on my price range, but everywhere I looked for him is in the "Waiting List" stage. Lucky to have a 3-Car Garage. Wish it were laid out differently, but the boat fits.

I’m in Allen but store my boat in Mckinney at Affordable Boat Storage. $175 w/ elec. Has concrete perimeter and a gravel floor. They have concrete slab floor units for a little more $ but I didn’t see the point in paying the extra $ for my purposes. The gravel has worked out just fine and I don’t have to worry if I spill on the floor as I do all my own maintenance. The owner is a real nice guy too. Actually helped me drop my lower unit and change water pump one time.

Wrights Boat Storage near Collin Park on Lavon is good. Not sure if she has any openings or not. Super nice lady. 3rd year I have had my boat there. I pay $1600 for the year up front to get a discount but $150 is the monthly rate I believe. Fully enclosed, crushed granite/caliche with electricity. Storage rates anywhere near heavy civilization are insane.

My buddy keeps his boat up there, pretty good price, he said the traffic keeps getting worse and worse in the area over time, he's coming from Frisco area.
