I have the v3 and v5 lakemaster southwest chips and my Helix 12 will not recognize them. I updated the unit to the latest software version and it still won't detect either card (I'm plugging them in one at a time) in the chart source.

I've factory reset the device since the software update and still no dice. I've confirmed GPS is working and both chips have active files on them as I can see them when I plug the SD cards into my computer.

Anyone else have this issue?

Lakemaster map cards have preference when inserted so they are what you get with the AUTO setting.
There is no Lakemaster Southwest region==Texas is in the Mid-South region coverage.

Mid-South region is what I meant, I didn't have the card in front of me and couldn't remember the exact name for the region I have.

The graph is set to Auto (and I've looked at the other available options) and it's not populating.

Is your issue not having any contour mapping or not having contour mapping where you are located?

This issue is the unit does not recognize the card at all. When I power on the device and go into diagnostics it shows both SD card slots as empty. I've tried swapping the card into different slots to no avail. I've also factory reset the unit and upgraded it to the latest software update.

Put the card in your computer to see what files are on it. You may have gotten a blank one, seems like there are some that were shipped.

I can see files on my computer on both my v3 and v5 chips. Still not detecting on the Helix 12. I've opened a support case with Humminbird.
