No problem as long as you have titles.
And you’ll pay sales tax when you get your Texas title.

I bought mine in LA. The boat was no problem. LA has a strange title. The title for mine was on the back of the boat registration. I had to do a pencil tracing of the serial number on the boat. If you can't do that then a GW has to inspect it. Trailer was the biggest issue. The trailer title did not have a weight on it. When I went to the register the trailer they gave me a list of what I needed to transfer the title and register it. The lady was fairly new and forgot to tell me that I needed to weigh it. Kind of ticked me off because i drove right padt Loves to get the inspection and required another trip to the tax office. From what I hear from some people I guess I was fortunate. I took the weigh ticket back and the young lady asked an older more experienced lady about and she said that I need empty weight. I knew the empty hull and motor weights so they let me calculate the empty trailer weight. Every vehicle or trailer purchased out of state has to be inspected in Texas.
