Ok all, I have searched and cannot find the answer on here so posting to see if anyone knows. I am using a helix 12 3 gen and downloaded my waypoints and put into Humminbird PC. The goal is to separate the points by lake or region as I am close to the limit on way points. I live in Texas but have points on lakes I fish in TN, AL and AR and do not want to lose them but I cannot figure out how to know which points are for what lake. It just gives me a list of 2600 plus points. I can click on google earth and it will show them to me, but there has to be a better way than going through 1000 points individually and moving to a new file. Has anyone dealt this this and if so what solution did you find? I got some points on a card for a new lake and I cannot load them because there is not enough memory so I have to do something ASAP. Any help is appreciated.

You can sort of list them by either longitude or latitude by mouse clicking on that column at the top. When you do that, you can change the order to ascending or descending numbers by the V above the name.
That will have locations close to each other listed close to each other.

By the way, that worked well. Was able to separate out about 10 lakes and make individual cards that I can update so I should not run out of room on my graph now! banana
