Man, I don't think I have ever had luck on the lake side for carp or buffs. Only on the river. Good job!!

I fish Texoma a lot, great numbers lake and a nice variety of fish to be caught (all 3 species of Buffalo, Commons, Fantails, Grass Carp), but the lake is probably not going to set many peoples pb. Also catch some nice Smallmouth Bass on hair rigs there Jan-April.

Awesome captures Osborn! Texoma is a fun one for sure I fish Texoma a lot, great numbers lake and a nice variety of fish to be caught (all 3 species of Buffalo, Commons, Fantails, Grass Carp), but the lake is probably not going to set many peoples pb. Also catch some nice Smallmouth Bass on hair rigs there Jan-April. +1, although there is a very small chance that you can get something massive!

but the secret is chumming. You can catch carp and buffalo in most of our lakes if you chum for 3 days with range cubes then use the range cubes as bait. And there are some nice ones out there.
