Fishing, err I mean catching is certainly improving. Many more fish caught on crank baits and top waters, But a some were still caught on plastics. Some as deep as 20'. Winds were light.


All fish 10" and up count. Only their best five count. Today's tournament was # 21 for the five fish limit.

1st Randy Bunch of Lake Fork with 9 bass for 22.57 LB with a lunker of 5.49 LB
2nd Dennis Bubinas of Lake Fork with 7 bass for 14.91 LB. with a lunker of 5.60 LB
3rd Don Overstreet of Sulphur Springs with 8 bass for 12.14 LB with a lunker of 3.78 LB.
4th John Berech of Garland with 5 bass for 11.54 LB with a lunker of 4.68 L
5th Robert Gayler of Lake Fork with 2 bass for 9.49 LB. with the boater lunker of 7.95 LB.

Co Anglers

71st Ken Kielbas of Arlington with 6 bass for 7.97 LB with a 3.62 LB lunker.
2nd Ken Chapman of Yantis with 1 bass for 7.41 LB which is the co-angler lunker.
3rd Gary Gilmore of Ennis with 3 fish for 7.37 LB with a 5.18 LB lunker.
4th Rick Wright of Rowlett with 3 bass for 5.80 LB with a 2.81 LB lunker.
5th Alf Tuggle of Scroggins with 3 bass for 5.72 LB with a 3.62 LB lunker.


76 bass were caught, and 2 anglers were skunked, almost three times what was caught last week.
