Hi all -
My adult daughter wants to head to the lake Grapevine next week. She is taking the day off so I want the trip to be great for her and she loves to minnow fish. I usually only use jigs and haven’t bought minnows near Grapevine in awhile. Used to buy them near Lewisville years back by the pound but was told they no longer sell to the public.
Any decent places nearby to get her some minnows?
Thanks in advance.

Yates corner store off of Dove Loop and Kimball is the best place to get minnows in the area. They load you up too and aren't stingy

Theres only two spots I know of, The Chevron on Dallas Dr & Texas Trail, or Yates grocery at Dove & Kimball. Of the two I would recommend Yates, the Chevron minnows are gargantuans more suited for bass fishing imo.

Thanks in advance. Was that the live bait outlet? I haven’t been there in a while, but with their prices and being a whole seller it might be worth swinging by. I catch my own now, but their quality was some of the best I’ve ever bought.

I believe it was the live bait outlet. Last time I went by there the gates were closed and locked. I had heard it was no longer open to the public but that may have been incorrect.

I went there this morning and they had every single minnow die off. I don't care if they are live or not but I would assume they are going to throw them all out and I am not sure how fast they can restock
