If you can find the creek channels the fish are bound to be in the timber around them.

Thanks Brian I appreciate your timely answer. The problem is I'm disabled and need to know
kind of where I'm going first! Thank-you for your time! Many tight lines!

This time of year on Lavon the crappie with really stack up on the many many brush piles around the dam. That would be a good place to start for some easy fishing where you are not chasing them all over the place.

Thanks so much for that information. I'll try to find someone to go with me! I'm 75 and disabled.

I was out there last week. Any cover in 10-17 ft of water has crappie on it. Lots of quality fish too. Jig bite was strong and lots of dinks mixed in.

Truth! I went out at 10 am in the Battleyak and nailed them not a mile from a boat ramp. OP, do have a boat, fish finder?

Keep looking forward. That’s why windshields are larger than rear view mirrors.
