I’ve had a hard time identifying the different species other than the redear and bluegill. First article I found with specific characteristics.

The first is a Copper Nose Bluegill! If you were applying for a waterbody record you would just say Bluegill on the application. cheers

Great Article and Photos....when I was growing up I fished a pond that was filled with Green Sunfish, caught them on a large popping fly on my Zebco
