Hi Group -

I made a rookie mistake and the trailer connector got wrapped around my ball hitch and when I drove off, it pulled all the wiring from the trailer wires. I need some help trying to put them back together, I am pretty novice when it comes to electronics and trailers.

From the trailer, I have a blue, white, Green (connected to a black cable), yellow (connected to a black cable). Coming from the connector, I have a blue, white, green, yellow and brown. There is no brown cable coming from the trailer so I am not sure which color I should connect the brown cable to. Any recommendations?

Green goes to the right blinker, yellow to the left blinker. Brown goes to all the tail lights and side markers. White is ground. If you had a blue, it would be electric brakes/backup wire.

Assuming it’s wired properly to begin with.

See if that “black” is really brown or if it’s going to the tail light on one side.

White is ground.
Brown goes to both sides, yellow and green are your right/left signal controls.

Ah got it, maybe the black is really brown. Assuming the black is really brown, I should connect all 3 browns together correct?
