It's been a couple hours, when do we get confirmation? Bob's old. It may take awhile. He's probably at luby's having the chop steak louanne platter.  I am old. No lubys though.

3B is a great place to hang out on a day like this, Sexton Mill is pretty good too. We drove by Sexton Mill looks cool. Hammonds is close too.

Across the street from the campground on the Paluxy river.
PS The tiger mart on the corner has an awesome bakery. Best chocolate chip pecan cookies ever.

Back home today, it was a great 4 days for weather and good music and jamming. Wish I would have had the time to visit Reel Busy and Dave-O for a GTG but I had some commitments with some bluegrass friends there and jamming circles. Oakdale park is really nice, the new owners really spruced it up a lot since the last time we were down there. Clean new restroom facilities and they keep the campground and RV sites really clean and functional. We tried to get in to eat dinner at Hammonds BBQ but it was closed on Thursday and Friday night when we went there, there was no parking and the line to get in was crazy huge. We had a good lunch at the Big Cup restaurant and one night dinner at Los Primos. The food at Los Primos: Could have just been the Chile Releno meals the wife and I got but, they were not good. Friends got some enchilada dinners and they said they were good. The downtown in Glen Rose is cool. Some good antique and collectible shops and an old time soda shop near the courthouse. 2 hour drive down from Rockwall. The worst part of it was I-20 (635) around the metro mess. People are crazy drivers anymore. 67 is good road, a few stoplights but flowed well.
