This Was The Smallest O'io This Morning-The Largest Was Almost 6lb!

Guy loves his 2lb ultra-light rig that he got from Brian's Fishing Supply in Honolulu, HI. So much so that he acquired several rigs! This long time angler has known & fished with some of the best anglers in Hawaii. He gets so excited when a Golden Trevally "Pao'pao" swims by. So much so that we can all feel his energy rubbing off on all of us! It's refreshing to share in his energy even when he hooks an average sized Bonefish "O'io".

Even a 2-3lb Bonefish will give anyone a thrill fighting on 2lb test Tournament monofilament line. That means the line is tested to break at 2lb, not stretch beyond that rating. I think we counted Guy running for his rig at least 16x that day. Shows that the fish really can't see the thinner monofilament line as there were 5 other rigs all about 20-30ft apart. Only his rig was getting the lion's share of the strikes and everyone was using the same bait.
