I've got a slip I've been fishing for the last month. Been catching 15 to 25 fish a trip. Once it gets colder like in December or January do you think I'll still be able to catch some catfish? I've been chumming and using punch and dough bait.

How deep is the water in the slip, and around - close to it?
I have caught smaller channel cats around my dock in the winter - 4' of water, but was slower than summer. Sunny days in the winter bring them into the shallows more it seems. If you have them trained with the chum, I would expect to keep some around, as long as you are feeding them.
good luck!
Ken

Crapyetr, we will look into some turtle distracting ingredients! Man, they are just gonna be in that shallower water.

As of right now my slip is 9 feet deep. I chum it out 3 times per week.
