Been through this for years, soured wheat, milo, guess what in my opinion, 20% range cubes are just as effective and you don’t have to deal with the stink, just my thoughts
call it what you will...he is not definitely not anywhere near the top of the list for QB's that I would choose needing a FG or touchdown drive late in the game.

I do sour a little grain in early and late summer for my grandsons.My preference is Milo but I will use wheat and it is a little easier to get my hands on,spills at the local.elevator.If I have nothing soured I keep a tub of range cubes,20% minimum but I prefer 22 and 24%.My feed guy will call me when he gets 22 or 24% which sadly is maybe once or twice a year.Once those are gone its back to soured grain or the lower protein range cubes

We used wheat for Amistad and also Metroplex area lakes for years but the price went up at some point so switched to milo. Stuff I liked was soybean cake which was a sackful of biig chunks if you can find it. I guess maybe its culls and wasnt very expensive.
