We are paying the price for an economy that has been artificially propped up for a number of years with almost zero interest rates. It always creates inflation as it is now doing.

And yet millions and millions can't wait to cast their votes for more misery. Economic pain is good according to them, I guess. It's basically self mutilation. You Americans who had more disposable income before higher gas prices and skyrocketing inflation that far outpaces your salaries and wages needed to be knocked down a few pegs. Luckily for you, the right people for that job are now in power.

Get two pieces of paper. On one piece, write down all the things that the current administration has done that has caused the current high inflation and interest rates (write small so you have enough space). Throw away the other piece of paper because there is nothin the current administration has done to keep what was already low inflation low or keep what were already low interest rates from increasing.

I don't think it's incompetence, although Biden is certainly that. I think it's the full blown implementation of their policies. Go back and listen to what Biden said he would do during the campaign and compare that to what has been done. Of course during the campaign he said "I'm going to do X and it will result in a better economy for everyone." But then he does X and low and behold the economy tanks. In other words, its the results of failed policies. Whether or not the person implementing them is incompetent is irrelevant.
