Between the Big ramp and the bridge in 9 Ft. Of water closer to the Bridge.
Looks like 1" Rebar in Concrete a foot under the water.
Gouged 30" of fiberglass out of my Ranger.
East Texas Fiberglass is applying a Gator Hull as soon as Insurance figures it out.

It needs to be marked by TXPW ASAP.

Sorry to hear that! A year ago couple of guys in a brand new Blue Wave CC like mine was hugging the bridge and hit that bar. Stay halfway between the dock and the bridge on the north side. DONT hug the bridge. They didn't remove the all parts of the old bridge when they built the new one two years ago. DOH

I believe I have seen several threads about this very spot/situation. Why hasn’t someone marked it?

Luke 6:22-23

22 Blessed are you when people hate you,
when they exclude you, insult you,
and slander your name as evil
because of the Son of Man.

23 Rejoice in that day and leap for joy. Take note—your reward is great in heaven, for this is the way their ancestors used to treat the prophets.

Buddy of mine boogered up his stainless prop on that spot last fall. If you pull up the lake on Google pro during 2014 you can see the metal easily.. I bet it didn't sound good when it happened to you..

Is this on the NW side of the lake? My AID paper map shows hazards in that area.

This is 2016, and there is a small pic of 2014.. Costly little local knowledge that does need to be marked.

I bumped it once with my motor. I stay more towards the center now like Todd said.

A friend of mine scraped his stainless prop on it pretty good.
