Lake Tawakoni Stacked Up Fishing Guide Service is officially offering trips on Lake Tawakoni!
I have been primarily fishing Lake Tawakoni for the past 4 years. I’ve been fishing for sand bass, hybrids, and stripers for 10 years now. Fishing Lake Tawakoni, professionally, has been a dream of mine for awhile! That dream finally came true last weekend 9-18.
I had an ex Co-worker book my first trip and I couldn’t have been happier for a good group! We started early and hoped for top water action and chasing birds. That didn’t really work out to good that morning. We caught a few undersized hybrids and serval keeper sand bass but the top water action was very short lived. We took off towards all the good sand bass humps and points. We marked herds of fish in most areas. Getting the most consistent bites was trolling. We had a 7 year old who said his arms were sore after catching some of those big sand bass. We moved to a wind blown point once the wind finally picked up and this was the best casting and reeling bite. We caught them quick with a 1oz slab. Once that died we continued some trolling and loaded up a few more fish! Overall, the bite was tough but the fish were plentiful! After 4 hours we had enough fish and called it a day!
I advertise and update my calendar for trips on Facebook at Stacked Up Fishing.
I want to use TFF as my weekly update. I will only be booking trips on the weekends.
Feel free to message here or Facebook or at 903-521-7642.
I hope to be meeting some of you soon as well!
