Ended up weighing 1.11 lbs. Still trying to get into the 2lb club?

That was a really nice crappie but a 16" crappie should be much heavier than 1.11 lbs unless it was really malnourished and that one looked healthy. You might need to check your scale ... maybe you've been under selling your weights !

I will check it out. Might be off a few ounces.

Weighed a mango 🥭 on our digital scale in kitchen. 1.6 ounces.
My fish scale registered the same. I have caught several 15-16 inch fish that weighed 1.14 yet to get one over 2. Winter is coming!

Just to clarify when you say 1.14 you mean 1 lb 14 oz. vs 1.14 lbs (which 1 lb 2.24 oz)

Hadn't considered that but that seems like a very logical explanation. I could definitely see a skinny crappy at 16" and 1.875 lbs.

Yes fish scale reads in ounce. 1.11 is 1lb 11 ounces. At 1.16 that would register 2.0 lbs.

Huh?
I didn't know they where off.
Further investigation it was discovered that it was the way the video was uploaded.
Next time I will make sure they are on so you can call me a POS properly.
