We fished Same creek as last month only difference is it flooded last week and is 15 ft high and has a strong current. water temp was 89ยฐ. There were lots of tiny bait fish and we also saw a few alligator gar rolling. We didn't catch any Rios I'm guessing because of the flooding. We did however managed to catch few crappie . Side note : we will be on the hunt for the Rios once the water calms down a bit.

Nice post and fish.  Side Note: Glad to see full water bodies, especially in the great southwest. Several creeks and ponds I have been fishing are full now. This past rain event paid off in a very good way.  The famous "Gill Buster" rain dance has paid off once again.

Good report...How long b4 the water clears up? Thanks Vogey! It usually takes a week or 2 and if it doesn't rain again. It doesn't clear up much because it's dirt bottom so it's always brown.
