Anyone on here with firsthand experience with one? Been driving Fords for what seems like forever and thinking of changing it up. Currently driving a '20 F250 Power Stroke. Have no real need for a diesel or a 3/4 ton for that matter but mama likes em and thats all that matters.

A buddy of mine bought a brand new one about 2 years ago or so and within a year traded it back in for a Duramax. Said not going with the Duramax from the start was a mistake. He does however pull a RV and an occasional tractor. My truck is a 2018 2500HD with the Duramax and all I tow is my bass boat. Wouldn't change it for anything.

Sounds like a stupid idea.

They've been having issues with the 6.6L. I'd find an older one with the 6.0L personally.

I'm considering trading my 2019 Duramax for a 6.0L. Love my Duramax but I just don't need the power and I could get some $ back if I trade. If anyone has a 2015-2018 model 2500 with the 6.0L they want to swap plus cash for a 2019 Duramax, let me know

I got a 2023 2500 HD with 6.6L gas. Towing get same mileage as my old 2016 Toyota V6 4X4. Tired of the transmission always grabbing a lower gear towing or not.
Didn't want a diesel, didn't want to spend 50K on a 1500 with 2.7 gas or diesel.....I know at least 15 guys who have diesels...constant issues with the def and maintenance cost....do they like them? they all cant sell them or trade them without spending a lot of money to add all the stuff they had to do to them. They are all stuck.

Half tons right now are crazy prices. I took my 2019 Silverado 2500 duramax into the local ford dealer and they wanted my truck plus $25k for a 2022 F-150 XLT with the 5.0. I laughed pretty good at that one.

Well we decided to wait until the order banks opens in February for the '24 models. Their going to have the 10 speed and the interior will be upgraded like the 1/2 tons.

I like the gmc 2500’s. They look pretty good. Don’t know if they are worth a [censored], it they look nice. I also like the f350 single rear 4wd tremor trim. They look nice too.

In-laws just bought a Denali 3500 dually. Friend of mine owns the local dealership so they got a great deal in todays market. Have to say it’s a pretty nice truck. Love my Super Duty and it’s been the best truck I’ve ever owned but been driving fords for almost 20 years. Usually get a new one every 2-3 years and it just like my old one. Time for a change

I asked a GM rep about this over the weekend, he said it's the 6.2 that is the one that is having the issues. That's the same engine they are putting in the Vette and they are having rod issues.

I just don't need the diesel. I currently have a GMC 2500 with the 6.0 engine and have 286,000 miles on it, the leather center arm rest has worn out twice, and the driver side door handle is coming apart inside. I bought a small car for my daily driver so I won't be putting 40,000 miles a year on it, like I have in the past, more like 5,000 miles a year.

I ordered a new 2500 Denali with the 6.6 gas engine 3 weeks ago, had to put $1,000 down, and then last week I rode in a new King Ranch at the deer lease and so I went ahead and ordered a new F350 King Ranch with their 7.3 gas engine last Monday, nothing down, we will see which one comes in first and that will probably make my decision on which one I go with. Been a Chevy guy all my life but what I'm tired of is their interior falling apart.
