Hello Friends,
Many of you know Benny Dabney, and some of us are fortunate enough to call him a friend. With a saddened heart, and a request from his family, I wanted to let this forum know that Benny passed away yesterday, August 27. Please keep his entire family in your thoughts and prayers.

Thank you Guys for the prayers and kind words,at this time there are no plans for a public funeral,there will likely be a memorial get togather in a few weeks that all that wish to can attend,all decisions regarding this are being made by his wife and by Benny prior to his passing.
It’s hard for me to put into words how broken hearted we all are by his untimely passing,Benny was one of a kind,pretty much one of the best at what ever he set out to do,with a mind that never stopped,always inventing things he needed or improving on what he had,his skill as a carpenter and tile setter will always be on display in my house,simply because I ask him to help.
I dont need to tell anyone on this forum how good he was as a fisherman and guide,but I think it was his willingness to share his knowledge and methods with his friends and customers alike that made him so special.
I am sure that each and every one of you that knew him have your own memories of Benny,but I will always miss his quick wit and his sense of humor and his friendship. Rest In Peace my Friend.
