Isolated timber will hold crappie year round. Especially when said timer is close to a creek bed. Good video, keep them coming .

I've caught some big black crappie in schools, but the whites tend to be isolated IMO. thumb

In my experience (limited mostly to one lake) is that the bigger the structure, the smaller the fish. My theory is that a fish doesn't get big by fighting with 50 stupid, overly aggressive dinks for food.

Hey Anthony, does Lewisville have any standing trees that are accessible by kayak? I live on the east side of the lake. Info is much appreciated. Great video!!

What size Garmin are you using? I have the 7 inch screen on my kayak. Would that be enough to be functional?

Mine is the 7 inch too. I don't feel like I miss anything with the 7 inch screen honestly

Here something to consider, and my thoughts. When you see crappie schooled up on structure during they day, they are not there to feed (they feed at night chasing shad, and they are not on structure), they are there to rest. So during the day on structure, resting, the smaller fish feel safer in a big school, where bigger fish are not as scared to be alone and obviously prefer it as discussed.
