Would like to install some kind of SeaDek or Reflex marine flooring in this area.

Anyone know a place around DFW that does this?

Thanks

Have you looked into installing it yourself?

RTR Performance Fishing in the Beaumont Area did mine. I would be willing to make that drive for them to do the work if I had to do it again.

I have, but it requires custom dimensions and other things that need to be sent off. I'd rather drop the boat off to a pro and pick it up done.

That's a very nice job! I did mine myself and it turned out well, but, not as nice as that....👍
It is a reasonably easy job should you decide to do it yourself.

Duradek can send you a template and cut to fit. They are very reasonable. Easy to self install. Their cost on a Skeeter ZXR20 floor, cockpit area and step/ step up area is about same asOEM carpet floor piece. You choose colors, thickness etc. You can add custom logos too. Once he has your template back he cuts and ships the same week.

Mark, in regards to installing this product. Is the carpet removed before the new install or not?

Thanks

Yes. Remove carpet. Clean and prep then lay the Duradek down.

I just did mine and worked with Dura-Deck. They sent me a template to make sure they had the correct layout and if they didn’t then I was asked to pull the carpet and send to them for correct sizing. They’ve already done quite a few boats now so they have most of the major brands. Once I confirmed the template matched I gave them the ok and that’s it, took about a week or so from first phone call to finish. I had to pull the carpet, pour a couple quarts of industrial grade goof off, and took a plastic scraper and just worked all the residue loose. I finished with acetone to a streaky clean surface and was ready to put the decking in as soon as it showed up.
