Went with the Michelin silicon blades for last change - they are supposed to last twice as long as the rubber ones. The Michelin blades had the best price among the silicon blades.

I have said that before as well. Then, after the first good freeze and I leave a thin strip of frozen rubber stuck to the windshield, I buy the first set I can find.

I believe RainX wiper fluid and a regular application on RainX water repellent helps as much as anything.

I run the Bosch Icons on our cars. Not cheap but I hate streaky wiper blades...

$75 with tax for a Pair of Wiper blades. Wow. I must be showing my age. But, my windshields are nice and clear now.

Rainx blades at Walmart have gone up at to match that price!

When I bought a Michelin at WalMart last week the Rainx where in the $20s. Be careful when changing a blade. One slip of that wiper arm and you have a cracked windshield. I like to put a moving blanket on the windshield when I change one.

OK I just got an eyewitness report that so far Amistad has caught 70,000 acre feet which translates to a rise of 4 feet. Still 60 feet low but its a start with more rain expected. Hopefully the tropical thing approaching will track up the Rio Grande and put water in both the big lakes- and Choke also!

Been there done that.

My dealership has 8 mechanics. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve watched my heavy mechanics, who flag at 150%+ efficiency, struggle to put a set of wiper blades on.

Yesterday, at the Hillsboro store, the RainX were $10 each installed.
