 Proud Dad Post - My 4 year old cracked his PB twice this week!

My son caught his first bass just a couple of months all on his own, cast-to-catch. The last few days he's been on fire when we go to the neighborhood pond, ned rig, drop-shot and today a jig. If you need an uplifting video to watch tonight, the excitement of a little guy reeling them in is tough to beat!

I finally got my 7 year old son interested in fishing last year. This year is the first year that he is casting, retrieving, and catching all on his own. I still need to teach him how to tie at least a clinch knot. I need to get him to where he'll be able to go fishing without me. So far his PB is a 2 lber that was caught on a stick worm. I wish my son was as interested in fishing at 4 years old as it appears your son is. Enjoy!

Thanks for the support all! He's really coming into it over the last month or two. We went out again this evening and he caught one on a lipless and another on a jig. The jig fish he landed, unhooked and released!
