Any advice where to take an 8 year for some bobber fishing and boat riding would be appreciated. We’ve gone to Lake Travis once about a year ago. Much lower now and I don’t a good launch site.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions

Your boat? Decker or Bastrop would be better choices than Travis. Too many giant wake boats and jet skis on Travis and Lake Austin. You could put in a Lady bird, but can't use your big motor. Fish the edges and he should catch a few sunfish, guads, and maybe a couple of decent bass. And NO wakes or skiers to worry about. Good luck and hope your boy catches em!

Thanks
I’ll look at Decker and Bastrop. He like to ride as much as likes to fish.
Appreciate the info.
