Anybody made the decision to replace the carpet with an EVA foam in the cockpit area of their boat. Some of the newer boats are coming standard with this much improved idea.
Whenever the carpet in this area of my boat takes on water it takes forever to dry out unless I get after it with a wet vac.
Anyway I'm wanting to replace this with SeaDek or some derivative of the EVA foam material.
Suggestions....anybody had this done or know of a local place that will do this work around DFW?

They sent me a template to make sure it was going to be an exact fit.......including the drain hole. I confirmed that it was good and he stated they would start on it ASAP. I should be receiving it sometime next week and I will get it put in shortly after. Message me your cell or email and I will shoot you a picture of my final product.
