not sure what is required but I ran a 1000 cca on my 95 200 xri/efi.
if going lithium the 125ah ionic is rated as a start battery for merc and yamajama.

Why don't you download the manual for that particular motor? It will be in PDF form you can keep on you computer. I found mine and it's 17 years old.

Also consider what electronics and accessories you’ll run off of it.
I went with a group 31 AGM X2.

You're going to hear the following batteries many times over...just do a search and you'll see
Budget = Duracell Marine 31M (AGM)
Mid / High End = Batteries+ X2 31M or Northstar 31M (AGM)
Ultra = Lithium (many brands) Iconics seem to be the more popular
