This may be a long shot but, me and my wife are taking a quick trip to the keys for her 40th birthday. We would like to do a quick day fishing trip. I'm not particular about what type of fishing, I just want us to have a good time. My saltwater fishing experiences and limited so I'm good with anything.

Does anyone have a guide they recommend? We are staying in Marathon but can drive up or down to get to a quality guide.

Thanks in advance!

Saltwater Experience & Into The Blue fishing shows are filmed out of Hawks Cay Resort in Duck Key just down the road from Marathon. Both have charter captians at the Hawks Cay marina.

We did a 4 hour late afternoon tarpon trip under highway 1. Caught a nice 100 Lber or so after a 45 minute fight. Then we went out the next morning to the everglades to catch snook.

Two Conchs Sportfishing is also a popular charter fleet. Good luck!

What's the back of the boat doing? Fishing ain't a spectator sport
