Scatter some Tomcat Blocks around, set a few traps with the Tomcat bait gel (don't know what is in that stuff but they can't resist it) game over.
Reality. What a concept!

I had a rat infestation and tried everything made and I mean everything. I had varying degrees of success but was never able to fully stamp em out completely so they would just breed and it would start all over again. I finally bought one of those Havahart live traps and set it out. It took a couple days to get the first one but after that rat left his stink in the trap it was like a calling card. I thought I had my rat levels down at that time to just a few but I ended up catching 14 in it over a couple weeks time and now the trap sets empty but ready for any trespassers. The best thing about the Havahart trap is being able to release the rats at any liberals home as long as they're at least a block away.

There are a handful of Beto signs in my neighborhood.

One of my rats has the Monkeypox. I will try some thing different tonight. I hate to use poison because of my dogs.

I did too. I will tweak the set up tonight and hopefully bag one. Just set it back up. I am using celery for bait since I have seen them eating some of the vegetation around the bucket. I also added a mole trap since my mouse traps look to be to small for these mice. Now we wait…..again.

Maybe if you put out a hot tub and set up a cheese buffet...??? Then when they're all fat, happy and unsuspecting, turn out that Oskar and let him earn his keep for clogging up mama's new washing machine.

Stick with it, Mud. We're all pulling for you here.
My experience with rats has been that they are very cautious of any new food source, and therefore slow to fall for a new trap. Put out some food on the bucket and ladder where they can eat it in safety for a day or two to get them used to it. After that, only put food around the top, and finally only at the trap entrance.
