No need to change your mind. I actually enjoy them. But then again I’m from the north and I love smallmouth fishing

Watching someone catch a smallmouth in a river with current is fun to watch.
On big lakes, it used to be more thrilling when they had to fight the trolling motor and the fish.

But, yes watching someone spotlock and finesse fish with 4lb test is boring. Even worse if they are using a flogger.

I will be smallmouth fishing at St Claire next weekend. I don’t feel the need to changes the minds of others.

Never said it was boring to fish for smallies. Just to watch a tournament where they are predominant

I haven’t watched a fishing show since I was about 12 that was Barry Stokes outdoors. I think he was fishing Fork.

Not sure what tournament you are referencing with this post but at Cayuga MLF it is 90% largemouth.

I turned off Bass Masters the other day because watching a guy, watching his graph, watching his bait, watching a fish, watching for the bite was absolutely boring. Turn the graphs off and fish!! That's not fishing, there I said it!!

I don't get much enjoyment from watching other people fish period. It's not limited to smallmouth. I think that's part of the problem with fishing as a tv sport.

Fishing's hard for me to watch in general. I like to fish. I've never enjoyed watching other people fish.
