Heading down the Overseas Highway towards the Lower Keys.

Backyard looks nice!

Elizabeth testing one of the house yaks. She liked it, but says it needs a seat. We'll get that done.

Getting the weapons ready. Got Elizabeth a new paddle. She's finally using my 12' HD. It took a long time to get her to give it a try. She seems to be liking it.

That's Ziggy. He got his name from the TFF. Can't remember who gave it to him. The schnauzer is Whisky. I named him. That's a bully net for catching lobster.

The new VRBO house is cool. I think I still like the Key Haven property better, but it wasn't available this year. On the bright side, I met the owner last year and have stayed in touch with him, so I can probably get the Key Haven house next year. Pumped about that. Heading over to visit Ken in a few days to pick up a kayak I left at his house last year.

GTS Surf to Summit seats are the most comfortable if you can find one somewhere in the keys.. And tell Elizabeth I believe she is sitting in it backwards! roflmao cheers

Yep, she is in it backwards, but she's actually a very experienced kayaker. She paddles my old Malibui X-Factor most of the time these days on the lake because she can carry her camera in the boat. When we travel, we usually take one of our Malibu X-13s for her. This kayak. And I usually take my BOTE Ahab - next photo. As for her getting in it backwards, we were exhausted from traveling ... and she is dyslexic and often does things backwards.

This year we brought 2 SUPs instead. The other is my BOTE 12' HD Bugslinger.

Her favorite kayak is one I bought her 4-5 years ago, an Epic V-7.

Elizabeth said she would like to challenge you to a kayak race in any kayak you currently own vs. her in any kayak she currently owns.

This is a Cuban Boat that came ashore filled with people last week. It washed up at a Bar/Marina in the lower keys.
