I'm currently using an Asus Vivobook with a 15.3" screen and it works very well. Mine has an AMD Ryzen chipset with 8 cores, 16 GB RAM and an 1TB SDD. It is fairly fast.

Typing is the main problem w my current laptop. I want one that is easier to type on. I'm constantly having to go back and add letters due to this laptop's poorly functioning keyboard. I guess I could buy a regular keyboard in the meantime, but I also want a bigger screen.

Get a wireless mouse and keyboard.

Why not just get a good laptop with a docking station? Then you could add a regular keyboard and any size monitor you want.

I bought a lenovo 17.5" last fall to replace a lenovo 14" so I could see the screen better.

typing is pretty easy since the keyboard is larger, the bottom lenovo looks like a winner (very last one on the page).

Lenovo is what I have as well

I have a 14" for travel and 15" for home, with backlite on the keyboards. I have the ThinkPad X1 Exteme. Black Friday sale direct from Lenovo they have some smoking deals.

Try the new series of Dell

I currently have a Dell Latitude 7490. It's a perfect size for me while working on the road.

I have a little Acer Swift 3 with evo core i7. A USB dock and separate keyboard, mouse and monitor. I don't use touch screen so this fit the bill for me.

I've had my ASUS TUF Gaming A17 now for a couple years. It's been solid and a decent keyboard for typing. If I am at my desk with it I have 2 additional 24 inch monitors making it a 3 screen setup, and us an add on keyboard since I have the laptop setting further away. But when I have it in another room or on the back patio with me I don't have any problems typing, even with my large arthritic hands.

Added: It does tend to get a bit hot, so I have one of those Alien Cooling pads that I use under it when I use it on my lap. https://www.amazon.com/Alien-Studio..._=fplfs&psc=1&smid=AQUHVG2UWZSAB
