Retired Air Force '94, then DoD contractor until 2011. Been self-employed since then paying myself to do what I like.

Retired as is wife on 80 acres and living in a house I built in the dead center of Texas. Before that 50+years a a professional pilot/flight instructor with aircraft dealer thrown in the mix before the first oil bust got me!

In the business of being retired. First as USAF in 93 and last as govt civil service (DHS/ICE) end of last year. Interesting my last 17 years were with Customs Office of Investigations which is now ICE. I was in OPR (PSU) since 2009.

Hells bells, I forgot to post. I work in the fire protection / life safety bidness. Fire Suppression systems / fire extinguishers in restaurant, commercial, and industrial settings. Did it for a long time working for a good company. They finally sold out to a large corporation, and I resigned and started my own business. It's been good and real fun.

High tech since graduating from HS in 1978.
TI for one year (wave solder tech), IBM for 18 years (Selectric assembler, draftsman, mechanical engineer, printed circuit board designer) and Nvidia from 2001 until present (21 years), printed circuit board designer.
