Are there any Solo tournament trails in Texas? I know you can always fish a tournament solo but are there any tournament trials dedicated to the solo angler?

That's what I thought, it's called an individual trail. Until I showed up and there were "non-boaters," that are entitled to pick locations for half the day. I can't remember if the non-boaters compete amongst themselves or are included with everyone.

Really ? So there are guys that have all day to do their thing and if you happen to get a passenger you call the shots half a day ?

No it’s not like that anymore but non boaters compete against boaters.

It's still in the rules, if they told you otherwise, they need to update rules.

The schedule on the East side of DFW looks pretty attractive, but I don't think competing against a passenger sounds like anything other than a handicap vs those that have the luck not to draw one.
