Anybody have experience with the perforated glue on insulation hangers? I talked to the company and they said the adhesive is rated for 250 degrees. Iā€™m going to be hanging 4 x 8 sheets of rigid foam insulation in our metal building and just wanted to see if anybody has used this or similar. TIA

it may cost a bit more but go buy 2-3 cases (12 tubes per) of pl400 adhesive, won't take much and once you mash it to the wall it is there.

just use a thin bead and do perimeter and an x in middle.

be sure to put pressure on all of the sheet so the glue adheres.

Those metal spike hangers are what come with garage door insulation kits. They aren't great. About 25% of them fell off in 2 years. Also the aluminum caps aren't sturdy, don't press on them too hard if you don't want a spike through your hand - ask how I know.
