Besides our church every month, we make a large donation each December to Safehaven of Tarrant County and to Operation BBQ Relief.

Who do you give money to ? , i give to Texas Baptist Men and Operation BBQ . It depends, for the recent Texas fires I gave to local charities or to the people directly. A larger disaster I've given to Operation BBQ.

We donate only to local charities here in our small town where we have faith that the donation is used locally. Nothing national or international.

To avoid disasters, I donate to Firearm Policy Coalition.
Team wolfs I had to perform. It took a minute to get it all in my mouth and another five to swallow it all.

Those in Eastern Kentucky are in dire need now if anyone is looking for a cause. Mattress Mack is taking a convoy there (May have left yesterday tho) and they are asking for much including able bodied folks.
We give to our church of course but also to CF Foundation and the local pregnancy crisis center.
Advice? Wise men don't need it. Fools won't heed it.

We donate only to local charities here in our small town where we have faith that the donation is used locally. Nothing national or international. Good plan. Too many of the big national organizations have top heavy expenses and not much drips down to the actual need. We were members of a small church that did the same thing. We could not support a missionary or give to large national charities so everything we did was directed at a specific need in our community. We called it "playing in our own league."

I don't donate money. I'll take supplies where I feel they will get to the right people. But I'm not helping some charity CEO or pastor get a better house or new car. If I know someone in a disaster area. I'll ship straight to them if I can, or send money if they need it. After the Nashville tornados, I met someone I know through the music scene to offload a bunch of supplies to him. He ran them to Nashville. We sent some stuff to eastern Kentucky the other day. But they ain't getting cash. Nope, too much nefarious chit goes on with charities and churches.
