I know rain is the main factor, but what are the odds Fork will come back up by October?

Zero Probably take 2 years unless we get a tropical storm! I expect in to get lower, based on current weather pattern.

Yep. It will likely be pushing 9ft low come first of October. July, August, and September are our driest months of the year. There is nothing in the short, medium, or long range forecast to indicate anything even approaching normal precipitation.

It ain't coming up with a hurricane or tropical storm! We very seldom get much rain from those around east Texas, unless your farther south!

I see Fork coming back next spring, not unless we have a wet winter.

Actually, if you all remember in the winter of 2014 when it was 7 1/2 low, we had a big rain fall and it came up pretty fast in early 2015.
But apparently, we didn't have the so-called global warming then. It went down from another big drought starting around 2011.and the fact that Dallas was taking our water on a regular basis (I think).

they have the rights to x amount of water each year. I forget how much. SRA owns Fork, Tawakoni and TO

I have a place out there since the first of the year and have been watching the water drop. Really socks to have built a dock that I won't be able to use for who knows how long. So many weeds are growing up in the old lake bed that when the water does rise, it is going to be really nice for a very short time then that stuff is going to die off and be a slimy mess.
