 DFW area mechanic

I am having an issue with the boat we just bought. Its a 1995 suzuki 115 2 stroke efi. When im in the water under a load it stops at about 2600 rmp and 9mph, max. you can hear the engine sputtering as well. In neutral it will hit higher rpm's. Out of the water with the muffs i can put it in gear and it will hit high rpm's. I am going to check compression this eveing. This old engine fires right up on first crank.
Do yall have any suggestions on a trustworthy mechanic? I live in Springtown/Azle area close to eagle mountain, but will travel for a trusted mechcnaic.

Called Charles and he won’t work on Suzuki.
Boat sat at alliance dfw for 7 weeks and didn’t move so I picked it up. Looking for another mechanic.
