I do pretty well out here on Bridgeport with them. Have done real well on Worth with a frog. Eagle Mountain can be good too. When water is up in the bushes on Grapevine, Roberts and Lewisville it can be good too.

Rumor has it Tawakoni is usually a good shallow fishing lake with come pads and shoreline vegetation that concentrate bass and lots of amphibious creatures!

All I can say is RIBIT is a lot of fun on one of the tri-lakes @ Mt. Pleasant. Went to play this morning and they liked my little froggy.

Athens is always a good bet, White Rock can be a good practice lake now that you are in the neighborhood, but it trolling motor only.

Lake Clark when it was all matted up “When”? Although I’ve not been there in months I’ve never seen it not “all matted up”. And yes, it’s a good place to practice your punching, frogs…..and if they’re not biting shallow you can always go to the deepest water by the dam and catch some of the biggest sand bass I’ve ever seen.

With Chambers being low there is not much in the water besides docks. I didn't get any on a frog back in May when last there.

Not much in the water at Tawakoni, being 3.5 feet low Did it drop that much? Dang! Is that over a foot down since we fished there with RHBC? I guess that means the pads are in about 6 - 10 inches of water, then.

Sorry to break the news, but I fish Clark once a week (Tuesday nighters) and it’s a c rig lake now. Lol. The grass is almost gone. What ain’t gone is in a foot or less of water. It’s getting lower.

Rumor has it Tawakoni is usually a good shallow fishing lake with come pads and shoreline vegetation that concentrate bass and lots of amphibious creatures! A few years back I watched an epeisode of Bass Champs that was filmed @ Tawakoni in the early summer. The cameras went with the guy that was the MC for the show back then; he does a lot of commercial voice these days, cant remember his name. He caught a pretty nice stringer of fish but finished just outside the money but still had around 20 pounds. All his fish were caught on a spinnerbait in the pads in less than a foot of water. I'd say that would be an ideal situation for a frog as well.
